KeraVet® Gel is a unique topical hydrogel containing patent-protected keratin technology and an effective bitterant. Together they support better, faster healing and reduce self-harming behavior. The keratin in KeraVet Gel provides a scaffold that mimics the extracellular matrix, facilitating cell attachment, proliferation, and migration–all of which are crucial for re-epithelialization. Clinical studies show that KeraVet Gel supports better, faster healing and stops licking behavior by up to 87% in dogs and cats. Available by prescription only.
Common veterinary uses include lick granulomas, surgical incisions, atopic dermatitis, and bites.
